Sisa Studio Staples is our evolving in-house collection — a small range of one-off, one-of-a-kind rugs designed with our excess yarn remnants in mind. Each piece is a thoughtful response to our material availability, guided by intuitive composition and playful experimentation with the techniques of hand-tufting.

Remnants is our first in-house designed range of one-of-a-kind, hand-tufted rugs.
Crafted as always using our supply of excess, premium 100% New Zealand wool yarn, all of the rugs in the Remnants collection have a plush, cut-pile base in a single tone. Subtle loop-pile detailing by our skilled hand-tufters are seemingly imprinted onto the surface. Soft to touch yet enduring in structure, these pieces celebrate restraint, texture, and the art of working with what remains.
